My Experience
Nov 2022 – Present
Lead Frontend Engineer at Rukn
I lead the front end of an e-commerce platform serving stores across Kuwait and the Gulf. I rebuilt the component layer on TypeScript with a single design system, which halved first paint on mobile networks.
Jan 2020 – Oct 2022
Frontend Engineer at Nabta
I built bilingual internal dashboards for a logistics team, and added full RTL support to the shared component library that four products now use.
Mar 2018 – Dec 2019
Junior Frontend Developer at Mithaq
My first product team. I turned Figma designs into responsive pages, and learned code review, automated testing, and how to write documentation someone else reads.
About
About Me
I’m a front-end developer specialising in React and TypeScript, and I design what I build when a project needs it. What matters to me is that the product reaches the user quickly and works on every device.
I started with the web seven years ago building small sites for friends, then moved into larger product teams where I learned that good code is the code a colleague can read a year later.
When I’m not writing code I contribute to open source, write about web accessibility in Arabic, and mentor developers who are just starting out.

Freelance Marketplace
FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT
A platform connecting companies with freelancers, built on Next.js with instant search and shareable profiles. After launch, profile completion rose from 41% to 78%.
A full Arabic and English fashion storefront: browsing, filters, sizing, and a fast cart. I rewrote the checkout path and cart abandonment dropped by a third.
A content platform for designers with an editorial dashboard, a newsletter, and a job board. Article pages are statically generated, bringing load time under one second.
